Bianka Benko

Bianka Benko founded No Planet B – Travel with B after years of travelling, working with local communities, and being involved in tourism development projects across different regions. The idea came from seeing, again and again, how tourism can either extract value or genuinely support the places and people behind the experience. From the start, her focus has been on creating small-scale, responsible travel programmes where local communities — especially women — are active partners, not just part of the scenery. She works closely with women-led businesses, community initiatives, and ethical local partners to ensure that tourism creates real, tangible benefits at the local level.

No Planet B is not only about organising trips, but about approaching tourism as a development tool when it is designed consciously and with long-term impact in mind. The women-focused perspective is built into how programmes are designed, how partnerships are formed, and how stories are told — it is not an add-on, but part of the structure. Through this work, she has gained hands-on experience in socially sustainable tourism, community engagement, and inclusive tourism development.
